The start date for this position is August 20, 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year.

The Salary listed is based on the Current Salary Schedule and does not reflect a yet to be negotiated Cost of Living Adjustment fo the 2024-2025 School Year.

 

Position Description:

The school counselor works directly with students, strategizes with teams so students are academically and socially successful, plans with the school leadership team for staff development, and communicates with parents.  The counselor will collaborate with staff to implement academic and social support systems that engage and ensure success for all students; focus on counseling that is integrated with learning and character education that promotes a growth mindset and academic progress. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of best practices in counseling;
  • Masters Degree preferred;
  • Oregon license in assigned area(s) and proper endorsements
